FREE Creative Expeditions for Over 55s with Tarka Line Creatives

Would you like to get outdoors, meet new people and have fun with photography and creative writing?
As part of a small group, you will take part in three expeditions, travelling on the Tarka Line Railway from Barnstaple, followed by one indoor session where we will plan our end of project exhibition. You will need a reasonable level of mobility as the walks will be between one and two hours long and in some locations the footpaths may be uneven and muddy.
No experience is necessary and, thanks to our funders, we will pay for train fares, provide cameras and refreshments too!
Local photographer and community artist Amanda McCormack, who will be leading the activities, describes the project as “A gentle but engaging way for people to connect with others.”
